MACY’S PASSPORT PRESENTS GLAMORAMA 2011

Hands down one of the hottest events of the year, the fashion with compassion event, now in its 29th year, brought back diva Sharon Stone to the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles to celebrate the life and work of legendary actress and AIDS activist Dame Elizabeth Taylor, the founding chair of Macy’s Passport.

Taylor’s two grandsons joined Sharon in the emotional tribute. The theme of the show was ARTrageous and featured top designers including Armani Jeans, Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse, Papi, Rachel Rachel Roy, Tommy Hilfiger and Tracy Reese.

Multi-talented artist, Cee Lo Green (Forget You) performed his hits live and a dazzling rain of confetti concluded the stellar evening. An “artlandish” post-party continued the festivities at CalMart in Downtown LA. As always, the event benefited AIDS Project Los Angeles and Project Angel Food.
